Terms of use

The plain-language rules for using PrintCut.

Who we are

PrintCut is run by Rezbeen Nahar Richi, trading as PrintCut, House 4, Road 10, Priyanka Runway City, Uttara, Dhaka 1230, Bangladesh. We plan to register a company named PrintCut; it will then take over the service and these terms will continue with it. We will tell you by email when that happens.

Who can use PrintCut

You must be 16 or older to have an account. To buy a plan or a template you must be 18 or older, or have permission from a parent or guardian.

Your account

You need an account to save projects. Keep your login private, and tell us if you think someone else has used it. An account is for one person. You can sign in with a password, with Google, or with a passkey.

Using PrintCut fairly

Do not:

Your designs

What you make is yours. We store your projects on our server so you can open them again, and we do not look at them except to fix a problem you ask us about. You give us the permission we need to store and process them, and to show them to you and to the people you share them with.

Sharing

When you share a project, anyone with the link can see it and make their own copy. You can turn a link off at any time.

Plans and payment

Paid plans renew by themselves every month or every year, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in the app under Settings, Plan, Manage billing; your plan then runs to the end of the period you have paid for, and your projects stay yours. Prices are on the pricing page.

Plans and templates are sold by Lemon Squeezy, our reseller and merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy takes the payment, charges any sales tax and sends the invoices, under its own buyer terms. If a price changes, we email you first, and the new price applies from your next renewal.

Refunds

When we give refunds, and how to ask for one, is on the refunds page.

Premium templates

A premium template you buy is yours to use, for good, in as many of your own projects as you like. You may cut and sell what you make; you may not pass the design or its cut files on.

Templates you submit

Templates you send in are covered by their own terms, shown when you submit one (see the submit page in the app). We may reject a template or ask for changes.

What we promise

We work to keep PrintCut running and your projects safe, but we cannot promise it will never fail or never have mistakes, and we provide it as it is. Check the dimensions and test a cut on scrap material before you cut something valuable. Running a laser cutter safely (fire, fumes, which materials are safe to cut) is your responsibility.

Limits on our liability

We are not responsible for indirect losses, lost profit, or wasted material or machine time. Our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, such as for death or injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, and nothing takes away the rights you have as a consumer by law.

Closing an account

You can close your account at any time: email us. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we will tell you why unless the law stops us. A paid plan that is closed because its terms were broken is not refunded.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. We email you about important changes at least 14 days before they apply. If you keep using PrintCut after that, the new terms apply.

Which law applies

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and disputes go to the courts of Dhaka. If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you also keep the protection of your own country's law, and you may take a dispute to your local courts.
